Security and Encryption
Information is probably your organizations most valuable asset. This hardly needs demonstrating. At the same time, your
computer systems themselves, independent of the data, are probably essential to your ongoing operations. Walk into a bank when
the computer system is down to see the effects of network failure. A commonly–quoted figure is that in the late 1990s
network downtime cost American Express US $170,000 a minute.
It is clear that network security is critical. You need to protect your data and ensure that your computer operations are
not interrupted. The threats range from simple data corruption, through virus attacks, to hacking and full–scale
espionage (industrial or national).
Cyber–dynamics has a particular specialization in security. We can advise you all aspects of data and network security,
help you identify problem areas and implement solutions, and create procedures to help safeguard your ongoing operations.

We also have a number of our own security modules and security applications which provide full encryption for data, whether
on disk or in transit.
You are probably aware that secure servers used for Internet banking deploy a maximum of 128–bit encryption. Our
security packages use keys as large as 4096–bits and we have a range of algorithms to select from according to requirements
– including RSA (think PGP), DES, Blowfish, TwoFish, RCx, etc.
We can provide symmetric encryption (ie, protected by a single pass–phrase) and asymmetric encryption (eg, public
and private key) encryption. We also have a system for verifying whether any specified data has been tampered with.
We can secure your email. We can provide secure servers. We have a system for silently encrypting a small block of
information in an email (used, for example, to send credit card numbers from a secure server to a remote location by email)
with drag and drop decryption. And more.
Whatever your security needs, contact us.
