Enterprize & Desktop – Overview
Cyber-dynamics has a number of tools and applications that run at the desktop or enterprise level, and we develop custom
software to meet any business, information or automation needs. Whether you need to customize Microsoft&174; Word,
clean and repair a single-user database, manage a corporate document retrieval system, or manage the revenue collection for a
major City, we can help.
In the main, our tools and applications are designed for the Microsoft Windows operating system and to meet the
requirements for the Microsoft Windows Logo. We are licensed, for example, by Microsoft to develop and distribute
Internet Explorer.
We usually follow the look and feel of Windows applications, so that users who are familiar with one Windows app
(such as Microsoft Word) are instantly at home with our software. This reduces the overall cost of ownership and enhances
efficiency for corporate, government and other buyers. However, we do occasionally develop outside of these guidelines
for corporations who want their desktop apps to have the uniqueness of a XHTML website.
There are other exceptions. We develop for mobile phones (eg, the symbian operating system) and for the enterprise and
Internet, where for robustness, speed or cost considerations UNIX or Linus might be more appropriate.
We follow best practices for development and documentation and apply rigorous quality standards. As a result, you
can be sure that our software will be easy to maintain, will flow with your changing needs, and will grow with you.
