Managing Users

We have a variety of off-the-shelf back end modules available to support ecommerce systems, including:

• Cyber | Users. This provides the essentials for user administration: maintaining user databases, encrypted password lists, and personal data. Automated sign-up is supported, along with real time password renewal and ‘forgot-password’ handling. Personal data can be updated by the user in real time. If you need to control access and/or store user data, this is the best module available.
• Cyber | Accounts. This supplements the Cyber | Users and maintains financial account records in real time. Linked to a payment gateway, users can manage their accounts and (depending on constraints stipulated by the administrator) receive and remit funds. The accounts can be accessed by other systems (eg, shopping cart, subscriptions and quizzes) for real-time transactions.
